THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER:
You must be aged 18 years or over and have completed the login procedure before goods are despatched to you. You are entirely responsible for the safekeeping of your user name and password and all orders you have previously placed. You must notify us immediately of any known unauthorised user or any other possible breach in security you suspect.
PROTECTING YOUR SECURITY & AGE VERIFICATION
To ensure that your credit card is not being used without your consent and that you are the cardholder, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. This has to be checked as alcohol is being sold to you. Any personal information which may be provided by you could be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information but be assured that this is done only to confirm your identity and that no credit check is being made about you. Your credit rating will not be affected in any way. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
UK MAINLAND
You undertake and are responsible to ensure that all deliveries are taken by person/s aged 18 or over. A gift to a third party is only acceptable if that person is 18 or over. Deliveries are made during the hours 08.00 to 20:00 on Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) Saturday deliveries may incur an additional charge and cannot be guaranteed. Telephone numbers must be given for the recipient goods. Goods are not able to be returned after the signing of a delivery other than those which are faulty or damaged. These will receive a full refund or a replacement which will be re-despatched free of charge. Where specific courier instructions are given e.g. leave in porch, round the back etc, you are entirely responsible for goods being received where our couriers have a POD (proof of delivery), and/or inform us that the goods were ‘left as instructed’. You must ensure that any specific courier instructions given are correct, that the information provided ensures a safe and accurate delivery. Any goods which go ‘missing’ after the delivery is made will not be refunded.
ORDER CANCELLATION
You may cancel your order even after delivery has been made, as long as it is within 7 days of the delivery via email sales@yorkshiredalesdistillery.com. All refunds will be issued within a maximum of 30 days from cancellation of the order or within 2 working days of the goods being received back to our distillery whichever is the sooner. Where a refund has been issued if the goods are not returned within 7 days then the cost of the goods will become due and recoverable. You are responsible for the collection costs and safe return of the cancelled goods to our distillery.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
If a breakage occurs before return we will offer a replacement or a credit on the return of the broken item. Breakages must be notified by email at sales@yorkshiredalesdistillery.com within three working days. The broken goods are to be returned within a further seven days from notification. Any agreed refunds will be made within 30 days from agreement.

Yorkshire Dales Distillery Ltd undertakes to give you the best possible purchasing experience on our Yorkshire Dales Distillery website, however, we cannot accept responsibility for any problems whilst shopping online for 3rd party problems arising through internet functionality or from the 3rd party merchant payment system. Every effort is taken to ensure that the content of this website is up-to-date and accurate. However, no representations or warranties of any kind (whether express or implied) are made about any of this website’s content and any such representations or warranties are excluded by this notice. We do not warrant that the use of this website will be error-free or uninterrupted. This website may provide links to other websites which may interest you. We do not endorse or give our approval of any websites linked to this website and we do not accept any liability in relation to your use of such websites. Yorkshire Dales Distillery Ltd will not be liable to any financial claims as a result of this. Your statutory rights are not affected. These conditions are in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
TREATMENT OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
1. If you choose to provide us with your personal information on the Web, we may use it to better understand and improve on the services that Yorkshire Dales Distillery Ltd and its web site offer. In addition, if you opt in, you will be added to our private mailing list, which we may use to provide you with information and news about Yorkshire Dales Distillery Ltd, its products and services and any related news, products and services.
2. We do not sell any personal information to other companies or third parties.
3. If you are part of our mailing lists, we will always have a clear mechanism for you to remove yourself from future mailings.
4. Wherever your personal information may be held within Yorkshire Dales Distillery Ltd or on its behalf, we intend to take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect the personal information that you share with us from unauthorised access or disclosure.

SHIPPING:
ORDER DAY PRE 2PM – Excludes weekends and Bank Holidays, applies to orders placed prior to 2pm.
Next Day Delivery – Orders must be placed before 12 noon on weekdays only.
Turnaround dates are estimates and can not be guaranteed.
EVENTS OUTSIDE OF OUR CONTROL
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”).
A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:
Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; and* The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.
Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
